WakeOrDonate is an alarm clock app that helps you donate money to charity each time you press the snooze button.
What if sleeping in for that extra five minutes could punish you, but reward others? Give a customisable donation to a wide range of charities - or wake up!
If you had to pay to press the button, would you snooze everyday?
The donation process is not mandatory; you will accumulate a balance that you are advised to donate to your charity choice. Money will be added to your balance upon each press of the snooze button and you can choose to donate your balance whenever you have a spare moment.
The app creates a monetary consequence for pressing snooze. An original alarm clock contains no such punishment for snoozing; this is an unaddressed issue. A study has found that an average of 590,000 UK workers show up late every day - 14%, of which, have snoozed their alarm system. Staff arriving late to work costs the UK £9 billion a year!
The snooze button is pressed far too frequently, the ‘alarming community’ are not productive enough, there are 24 hours in a day - we should all seize them. This is a great app if you're looking to improve your productivity.
When a snooze is really necessary it should at least be worthwhile - both for you and your chosen charity. If you can sleep in comfort, make sure others can too!
Over time, the app will negatively reinforce sleeping in (as your monetary supplies fall), but on the other hand, you could save somebody’s life before you have even got out of bed.
The value of your snooze is customisable from 50p (50c...) to £10 ($10...) and can be directed to a wide range of charities. Each donation transaction is handled securely by Stripe (www.stripe.com): by this unfortunately each transaction incurs a 2.6% + 20p fee (www.stripe.com/pricing) so it is best to clump your snooze donations together.

One more update for Flappy Fans. We have been reviewed several games based on Flappy Bird and today we are going to review Flappy Dodo Bird 2. The game is based and literally same as Flappy Bird, but with a different flavour. Regardless of all other games copying the same codes and bird shape, this game give something new as the colours are good and the Dodo bird take place of the old flappy bird. The Dodo bird looks different a little bit large. The gap between the pipes is a little wider but the size of bird is also large so this would not give any advantage to the player.
This game is created by Obsessive-C, who is also behind some more interesting games like “All Gas!- No Brake Allowed”. The game does not give a bad impression as it is free from bugs. It run smoothly on all devices we have used it for.
Game Play – The game is played like the normal way we Play Flappy Bird. You have to tap the dodo bird to make him fly. There are pipes in the way, so you have to dodge the pipes and fly through the vacant space between them. The more you fly the more it becomes harder. It is easy to handle the bird in this game and the colours are also good. The graphic quality is appreciable.
The game is safe for kids so you can allow them to play it.
The game requires iOS 6.0 an later. It is also compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
